Cardboard Mockups:

First Mockup

Base was unstable and the top arm was too skinny.

 

Second Mockup

Base was sturdy, but not sturdy enough. The top arm was chunky.

 

Third Mockup

Base was sturdy and proportions looked a lot better.

Single press button to switch between position and brightness control. Hold button to power off. 

Depending on the setting, when scroll wheel is turned, it will either move the light up and down or it will brighten/dim the light.

To improve performance and durability, LED pixel strips are mounted to aluminum. The aluminum acts as a heat sink, helping to dissipate heat and prevent LEDs from overheating, which significantly extends their lifespan.

Components consist of the button, scroll wheel, rotary encoder, and the LEDs. These components are all driven by the microcontroller which was coded using Arduino.
